Happy Halloween!



I took the large Halloween Treat Stamp and paired it up with a piece of Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper to make a quick Halloween Card.

The spider webs on the paper were just enough design for my card front, and I added a few retired "eyes" to my spider web and the top of my sentiment.  I cut the sentiment out with my paper snips and placed it onto my card using Dimensionals.

Thoughtful Branches still available!


The Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and coordinating Beautiful Branches Thinlits which were a promotion for the month of August is still available.  The original promotion was while supplies last, and since Stampin' Up! still has a few left you can still order it.  We were told that these items would not be coming back in any other catalog, so once they are sold out they will be unavailable for any future purchase.  So, I made another card for this month's stamp class showing another example of how to use the stamp set.

My card base is Calypso Coral Card Stock that I layered with a piece of Early Espresso and Whisper White.  I then took my Block I and stamped that onto my So Saffron and Calypso Coral Ink Pads to get the background.  My trees and thank you were stamped in Early Espresso right on top of the block image for a different look. 

I will post the numbers of both the stamp set and thinlits if you want to purchase them separately and also post the bundle numbers which saves you 10%.

Give Thanks


 
If you are looking for a good stamp set that works with many of the upcoming holidays, the Suite Seasons stamp set is perfect.  The sentiment I used today will make a nice Thanksgiving card, and will be offered at my September Class.
 
My card base is Very Vanilla Card Stock that I layered with a piece of Mint Macaroon Card Stock and a piece of Petals & Paisleys Designer Series Paper. I then took a piece of Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon, folded it in half, snipped the ends and placed it on to my layer using Glue Dots.  My sentiment which was stamped in Cajun Craze Ink was cut out with an Layering Oval Framelit, and another Oval Framelit was cut using a piece of Cajn Craze Card Stock and this was placed onto my card using a Diimensional.

Happy Labor Day

I am taking today off from posting to spend time with my family on this Labor Day.  I hope you get to enjoy the day with your  family and friends, and I will be back tomorrow with some new posts.

Spooky Fun


 
I purchased so many new products from the Holiday Catalog during the demonstrator pre-order but forgot to order the Halloween Night Washi Tape.  So, I looked at some of the Washi Tape I already had on hand and found that several of the tapes would work for my Halloween Card.  This is one of the cards that will be available at my stamp class this month.
 
My card base of Whisper White Card Stock was layered with a piece of Halloween Night Designer Series Paper.  Next I took some Playful Palette Washi Tape and Pop of Pink Washi Tape and layered on a few pieces.  Using the colors that coordinated with the tape I took my markers and colored over the words for colorful sentiments that are from the Suite Seasons Stamp Set.  I punched this out with my Best Badge Punch, tied on a piece of Halloween Night Baker's Twine, and stamped my ghosts, vampire bats and witch to finish my card.
