Pyramid Pals "Christmas Tree"

I like to try and come up with new ideas of items to sell at Craft Fairs and to make for my family. When I was looking at the frog I made with the Pyramid Pals Thinlits I saw that I already have a nice base for a Christmas Tree.  I filled it with a small bag of holiday M & M's and decorated the front with some rhinestones, and Gold and Red Dazzling Details.  I punched a star using Silver Glimmer Paper, and added my sentiment to the bottom of the tree.

November Paper Pumpkin

My November Paper Pumpkin kit has arrived, but I haven't had time to put it together yet.  Here is a video by Stampin' Up! that gives you the details.  I have heard from several demonstrators who have modified some of the cards to make them full size.  I will probably do that myself.  I will keep some of them the original size that comes in the kit to use for cards that I either hand out or put on gifts.  If I want to mail them I will add another base layer to make them full size.  Either way they are great cards and an easy way to make some pretty Christmas cards in a short amount of time.

I will post when I have a chance to show my modified version.  For now, enjoy the video.

Reminder:  The Online Extravaganza is still going on and in addition to the stamp sets, framelits, punches and accessories on sale, there are several Paper Pumpkin full kits and refills that can be purchased even if you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber.  If you would, however, like to join My Paper Pumpkin just click the link in the upper left hand column of my blog to sign up.  IF you have any questions please leave a comment below or send me an e-mail.

Another altered past Paper Pumpkin Kit

I got this idea from one of my customers who is a Paper Pumpkin subscriber.  She showed me a picture of the "What a Gem" diamond boxes that someone had sponged red.  I thought this was a great idea to turn the gems into Christmas ornaments.  I kept some of them as the original white boxes and brayed others using Real Red ink.  It was so easy to do and I love when I can get refills of past kits and use the contents a different way.

Original white with gold diamond box.

Real Red boxes made using my Brayer

It was really easy to take my Sponge Brayer and cover the entire box using Real Red ink.  I wiped the excess ink off with a paper towel and they were good to go.  I filled the boxes with Hershey Chocolate nuggets, tied a piece of Gold Trim through the holes in the top and added my sentiment.

If you would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, click the link in the upper left hand column of my blog.  You can get still get this kit, and if you are a subscriber you can get refills.  Below I listed the numbers for both the full kit and the refill kit.  You will have a lot of extra supplies left over for another project, which makes it an even better value.

M & M Christmas Tree Card

If you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber you might recognize the triangular cello bag I used for my filled M & M Christmas Tree.  The bags came in the Banner Surprise Kit and I had so many left over that I wanted to find another use for them and thought they would work well for my tree card.

My tree stand was cut from a Perfect Pine Framelit and I embossed my Crumb Cake Card Stock with the Brick Embossing Folder.  The Merry Christmas, from the Star of Light Stamp Set was punched out with a retired punch.  To keep my M & M's in place after I placed them in the bag I folded the end and added a piece of  Tear & Tape Adhesive along the bottom.  I also added a piece up the middle of the back side of the tree and placed it onto my card.

If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin you can still order refill kits to make your own tree cards.  You get 35 cello bags as well as the other materials that were in the original kit that you can put aside and use for another project.  A fun way to send a "tasty" Christmas card.

Holiday Marshmallow Peeps

Here are some of the products I have been making for my craft fairs.  My Halloween Peeps were a big hit, so I thought I would make some for the Christmas Holiday.  I used some stamp sets and Framelits that went with my sweet treats and packaged them up so they are ready to go for classroom treats, stocking stuffers, or little tasty holiday treats.
