No time for stamping - just time for hugs!

My daughter gave birth to my third grandchild last Friday and I am loving every minute of welcoming our newest family member.  Samuel Edward Rafferty is such a joy, and his big brother and big sister are so happy he has finally arrived.  No time for a card post today, instead I just wanted to share my latest little love!

Party Time!

A piece of Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper was the perfect layer for my It's Party Time birthday card.  The banners were already in the paper, so I just added my stamped and punched sentiment, placed this onto a piece of Bermuda Bay Card Stock and put it onto my Cucumber Crush Card that I embossed with the Boho Chic Embossing Folder.

I used my 1" Square Punch for my Party Time sentiments that are from the All about Sugar Stamp Set.  This set is also great to use on your Fry Box Bigz Die for pretty birthday treats.

Cotton Paper Flower

Using my 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch I was able to create a pretty flower for my card.  I punched 4 scallops, scrunched them a bit, and them kept them together using a Mini Brad.  I put this onto my card using a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive.

I found when punching the cotton paper you need to punch quickly to get a clean punch.  If you punch too slowly the paper tends to tear.  You could also use your cotton paper with any of your framelits to create all sorts of looks.

My card layer is Watermelon Wonder Card Stock, and that coordinated with my Watermelon Wonder Cotton Paper.   I layered that with a piece of Old Olive Card Stock and then stamped my vines in Old Olive ink onto a piece of Whisper White Card Stock.

Cottage Greetings Card Kit Video

The Cottage Greetings Card Kit makes 15 cards - 5 each of 3 deigns.  The cards measure 5" x 5" when folded.  The kit includes card bases, envelopes, silver foil envelope liners, die cut paper and foil images, baker's twine, sequins, wood veneer sheets, enamel dots and Stampin' Dimensionals.

The kit coordinates with the Cottage Greetings Stamp Set and Bermuda Bay and Delightful Dijon Ink.  If the stamp set isn't in your budget you can still finish the cards using stamp sets you already have.  I hope you enjoy the video below which shows you how easy it is to use.

Watercolor Wings

Watercolor Wings Stamp Set and coordinating Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies can be purchased together in a bundle to save you 15%.   And, with two step stamping you can also coordinate some of your favorite Stampin' Up! colors for your butterflies.

My card base of Whisper White Card Stock was layered with a piece of Pear Pizzazz that I embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  I then placed a piece of 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon down the center and adhered it in place using the new Tear & Tape Adhesive.  This is a thick ribbon and the Tear & Tape Adhesive keeps it in place nicely.

My butterflies were stamped with the following colors:  Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz, Tangelo Twist and Crushed Curry.  I placed them onto my ribbon using Dimensionals and placed my small punched Thank You in the top left corner.
