Dots and Stripes Mask

Need a quick background for your card?  Try using the new Decorative Masks that come in a Hearts & Stripes Set or a Dots & Stripes Set that I used for today's card.

My card base is Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock that I embellished with my Dots & Stripes Mask.  I used Whisper White Craft Ink and a Sponge Dauber and filled in a few stripes on the corner, and then a few dots in the center.  The dots were created using my Sponge Dauber since I didn't really want them in any kind of order I didn't need the Dots Mask.

I waited a few minutes for the craft ink to dry and then tied some Early Espresso 1/4" Cotton Ribbon around the center.  This new ribbon is really easy to work with and doesn't add a lot of bulk to your card.  I then stamped my sentiment which is from the new Fabulous Four Stamp Set, onto a piece of Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with my Big Shot and a Labels Collection Framelits and placed it onto my card using Dimensionals.

The masks are really an inexpensive way to dress up your project and are easy to use.  Have fun experimenting.
