Non-traditional Valentine

While I was busy preparing for this month's stamp class, I made so many Valentine cards that were the traditional red or pink, that I wanted to go a bit non-traditional for a few of the cards.

I got my color scheme off of the strip of Sweet Shop Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I love this paper.  Not only is it great for birthday cards, but great for Valentine's Day Cards too.

I started with a card base of Pool Party cardstock, and then cut my strip of Whisper White cardstock first with the Edgelits Die Adorning Accent, and then again with the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I love these new accessories for my Big Shot!  Next I placed my Designer Series Paper, and added my large stamped heart.   The Lucky Limeade Hearts were cut with the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die and one was placed inside the heart, and then the others randomly placed on my card.   I like combining old products, like my Stamp Set Sweetheart, with new products, like the new papers and embossing folders and dies.   Like one of my customers said to me the other day, it is like Christmas all over again!

The following were used:
Cardstock:  Pool Party #122924, Whisper White #100730, Lucky Limeade #122926
Designer Series Paper:  Pool Party #125408 (Occasions Mini)
Stamp Sets:  Sweetheart #120415 wood or #120780 clear, Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370
Ink:  Pool Party #122938, Lucky Limeade #122935
Accessories:  Big Shot #113439, Adorning Accents Edgelits Die #125595 (Occasions Mini), Adorning Accents Embossing Folder #125601 (Occasions Mini), Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die #125596 (Occasions Mini)

Very pretty Eileen. I like the idea of using colors other than red and pink for Valentines. This is a lovely color combo.
