Designer Frame Accent

The Designer Frames Embossing Folders create a great centerpiece on your card. You get two different Designer Frames and the oval shape used today coordinates with the Extra Large Oval Punch.

I started with Pool Party cardstock and then added a layer of Soft Suede that I stamped using Versa Mark Ink and a leaf from the Gently Falling Stamp Set.  I punched a piece of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper with the Lace Ribbon Border punch and then added another layer of Spice Cake DSP under my stamped and embossed top layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock.  Gently Falling is a Two-Step Stamp Set and I first stamped my leaf outline in Soft Suede, and then the whole leaf in Pool Party.  The Thinking of You was first stamped on a piece of scrap Very Vanilla and then punched out with the Extra Large Oval Punch.  You could stamp your sentiment right onto the embossed oval, but I find it easier to stamp my sentiments and then punch them out, and I like the way it gives it a bit more dimension.
