More Holiday Stockings

Oh, these stockings are going to make really cute Christmas Gifts.  Fill them with your favorite goodies or gift cards or personalize them to hang on your tree or mantle.  My design was cased from a similar stocking that I heard was showcased at this year's Stampin' Up! convention.  Thanks to all of the demonstrators who made it to convention and shared with the rest of us some of the wonderful creations made with new products in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

The front of the stocking was  cut with a piece of Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Series Paper, and I cut another stocking using Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the back.  I added the Red Glimmer paper in the front only, and stamped the Joy in Always Artichoke ink, and than cut it out with my Paper Snips.  To keep the stocking together I placed Sticky Strip around the edges, making sure to leave the top opened.  Now, you can't place anything too bulky inside, but I know I will be making some filled with doggie treats, gift cards, and candy.

To make the stocking I used the following:
Cardstock:  Cherry Cobbler #119685, Red Glimmer Paper #121790
Designer Series Paper:  Holly Berry Bouquet #124004 (Holiday Mini)
Stamp Set:  Letter It #122840 wood or #122842 clear
Ink:  Always Artichoke #105219
Accessories:  Big Shot #113439, Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die #124098 (Holiday Mini), Paper Snips #103579
Adhesive:  Sticky Strip #104294

Cute project Eileen. I really like the idea of gift card holders using this die.
