Cool Birthday Treats

Instead of Flip Flops which I used in a previous post, I stamped the Ice Cream Cones instead.  Another way to use a prior layout of cut cardstock to get another card.

Melon Mambo cardstock which was embossed with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (a carryover item from the Occasions Mini Catalog) created the background for the card.  I layered Tempting Turquoise cardstock with Whisper White for my stamped image which was then colored with markers and embellished with Crystal Effects.  I know you can't really see the Crystal Effects in the picture, but it gives the ice cream a shiny, almost wet look which really adds a nice touch.  Colorful Brads accented the corners and dimensionals helped the layer stand out.

For today's card I used the following:
Cardstock:  Melon Mambo #115320, Tempting Turquoise #102067, Whisper White #100730
Stamp Sets:  Sunny Fun #123040 wood or #123042 clear (Summer Mini), Something Sweet #117688 wood or #118589 clear
Ink:  Melon Mambo #115656, Crumb Cake #121030
Markers:  Brights Collection #119702, Chocolate Chip #100071
Embellishments:  Crystal Effects #101055, Brights Brads #119740
Accessories:  Big Shot #113439, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder #121809, Dimensionals #104430
Punch:  Ticket Corner #119867
