Sail Away for Father's Day

I don't know about you, but just looking at this card makes me want to go to the beach.  Sail Away is a single stamp in the Summer Mini Catalog.  I thought it made a great masculine card, perfect for Father's Day.

I started with a base of Crumb Cake cardstock, followed by a matter layer of Chocolate Chip.  I stamped my image with StazOn Ink on Watercolor Paper, and then used my Watercolor Pencils and blender pens to add a bit of color.  Lines of Baker's Twine were wrapped around the top, leaving just enough space for my sentiment.

To place the Baker's Twine on the card, I just wrapped it around three times and attached Scotch Tape to the back to keep it in place.  I didn't want to put any adhesive on the front because the twine is thin and I didn't want any adhesive residue on the front.

I used the following for today's card:
Cardstock:  Crumb Cake #120953, Chocolate Chip #102128, Watercolor Paper #105019
Ink:  StazOn Black #101406
Stamp Set:  Sail Away #123013 (Summer Mini), Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370
Ribbon:  Early Espresso/White Bakers Twine #123124 (Summer Mini)
Punch:  Word Window #119857
Accessories:  Watercolor Pencils #101879, Blender Pens #102845
