Love and Care

Hostess Level 2 Stamp Set Love and Care from the Summer Mini Catalog is perfect for your summer cards.  The inspiration for this card was taken right from the catalog.  If I am are ever stuck on an idea for a project, that is where I turn.  There are so many wonderful ideas and inspirations on each page. If I don't have the exact colors, papers, or punches that is okay, but I still use the main idea to recreate my own card using the products I do have, and the colors I prefer.

I started with Very Vanilla cardstock for the base, followed by a layer of Not Quite Navy and then a piece of Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper.  I stamped my images on a torn piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  First I used Crumb Cake ink, and then went over the flowers with Not Quite Navy where I wanted the flowers to appear.  I like how a small touch of Crumb Cake ink can still be seen behind the Not Quite Navy flowers.  A piece of Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon and my sponged and punched sentiment, which was placed on with dimensional finished my card.

For today's card I used the following:
Cardstock:  Very Vanilla #101650, Not Quite Navy #191722
Designer Series Paper:  Elegant Soiree #117163
Ink:  Not Quite Navy #103008, Crumb Cake #121030
Stamp Set:  Love and Care (Hostess Level 2 - Summer Mini Catalog) #123020 wood or #123022 clear
