Yummy Candy Flowers

I love all the possibilities with the Sweet Treat Cups.  Candy flowers would be cute for Mother's Day, Birthday, Thank You, or anytime you just want to give someone a little sweet treat.

For each flower I used coordinating cardstock and Designers Series Paper.  Each was cut using the Big Shot and the Flower Bigz Die.  To put the two pieces together I added two small strips of sticky strip to the center of one of the flowers and it held them together nicely.  The treat cups have their own adhesive on them, so they were easy to place in the center.  The leaves were made with the 1 3/8 oval punch, which I ran through my crimper for added texture.  I placed the leaves onto popsicle sticks using glue dots.

Treat Cups can be filled with so many things.  If you don't want to use candy, try goldfish crackers, sunflower seeds, or marshmallows.

To make today's flowers I used the following:
Cardstock:  Pear Pizzazz #119795, Peach Parfait #119794, Pumpkin Pie #105117
Designer Series Paper:  Greenhouse Gala #117167, Sprintgime Vintage #121782 (Occasions Mini)
Accessories:  Sweet Treat Cup #116802, Big Shot #113439, Flower Bigz Die #114534, Sticky Strip #104294, Glue Dots #103683, Crimper#101618
Punch:  1 3/8" Oval #11986
