Celebrations Quick Accents

At last year's SU convention, demonstrator Jackie Bolhuis shared her ideas on how to make 16 cards using  Celebrations Quick Accents.  I thought this would be a great time to incorporate her ideas into my May stamp class.  I changed a few of the sentiments and embellishments and am posting two of the cards that can be made in a snap using the self-adhesive die cuts in this great kit.

In the first card I started with Pacific Point cardstock, and used the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, 1 2/3" Scallop Circle, 1 3/8' Circle and 1 1/4" Circle punches, along with some of the self-adhesive die cuts.  A few birthday sentiments were stamped in the middle of the circles.

The second card is Bashful Blue cardstock, with the 1 2/3" Scallop Circle punch, and cupcake punch, along with more die-cuts.  If you wanted to add more dimension, you could run your cardstock through the Big Shot and use one of the embossing folders to add a more textured  background,, but I wanted to show how simple it is to use just the Quick Accents and a few punches and stamp sets to create your cards.

I was able to make 16 cards in such a short time, and love the bright colors that are perfect for sending summer wishes.

To make today's cards I used the following:
