Fun Flowers for Easter

Sorry, no sunshine, just some snow and sleet again today, so the color quality is not that great.  I definitely need to invest in a photo light so the true colors of the card show up.  In person the Always Artichoke Ribbon and Rose Red cardstock are so much softer, and look better than they do in the picture.

I started with a base of Rose Red cardstock, followed by a matte layer of River Rock and Very Vanilla. Next, I took both Rose Red cardstock and a piece of Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper and ran them through my Big Shot using the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die.  I then layered the colors to create my flower, and took all of these layers and ran them through the Big Shot and embossed them with the Finial Press Embossing folder.  I placed a Sweet Stitches button in the middle, added some scrunched Always Artichoke ribbon, and sponged Always Artichoke ink to my sentiment which was put on with a dimensional.

To make today's card I used the following:
Cardstock:  Rose Red #102544, River Rock #108640, Very Vanilla #101650
Designer Series Paper:  Springtime Vintage #121782 (Occasions Mini)
