Oh so pretty Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper

When the Designer Series Paper is so pretty, you don't have to add a lot of other things!  I just love its colors and patterns, and both cards were made by punching squares from this new vintage paper.  Thank you to demonstrator Karin Menghini who was my inspiration for today's post.

The squares were made with the 1 1/4" Square Punch.  Once the squares were placed over coordinating layers,  I took the layers and embossed them with the Lattice Square Embossing Folder.  Some new seam binding adds a touch of elegance, and these are cards that can be used for so many different occasions.    I love having extra cards on hand which is the reason the bottom one was left blank.

To make today's cards I used the following:
Cardstock:  Crumb Cake #120953, Rose Red #102544, Very Vanilla #101650, Pear Pizzazz #119795, Not Quite Navy 101722
Designer Series Paper: Springtime Village #121782 (Occasions Mini)
Ribbon:  Rose Red Seam Binding #121884, Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding #122330 (Occasions Mini)
Ink:  Rose Red #101778
Stamp Set:  Sincere Salutations #115068
Punches:  1 1/4" Square #119865, 2 x 1 3/8" Oval #119859
Accessories:  Big Shot #113439, Square Lattice Embossing Folder #119976, Dimensionals #104430

Pretty cards. You are so right, this DSP surely stands on its own but is so much fun to add to cards. Nice job.
