Valentine Kisses

I wanted to post these yesterday, but the day got away from me.  Had a great morning with the ladies who attended my Stamp-a-Stack, but forgot all about posting my blog entry.  So here are the Valentine treat bags I said I would show that use Stampin' Up!'s small cellophane bags.

To decorate the cellophane bags, I cut a 3" x 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock which I scored at 2" to make a nice fold.  I decorated the front of this with a strip of Love Impressions Designer Series Paper that was layered on top of a piece of Basic Gray cardstock.  I punched two holes with my Crop-a-Dile and inserted Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon to hold the bag and top together.  The bags were filled with Hershey Kisses.  The sentiment is from the Grateful Greetings stamp set.

If you have a project that requires a bigger bag, Stampin' Up! cellophane bags come in three sizes.  The small one used today measures 3" x 5", the medium bags are 4" x 6", and the large bags are 6" x 8".   Each comes 50 bags to an order and are great to have on hand so you are always prepared when you need to make and package your handmade projects and gifts.

For today's project I used the following:
Cardstock:  Whisper White #100730, Basic Gray #121044
Designer Series Paper:  Love Impressions #121780 (Occasions Mini)
Accessories:  Small Cellophane Bags #103104, Crop-a-Dile #108362
Stamp Set:  Grateful Greetings #116511
Ink:  Real Red #103133
Ribbon:  Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain #109052
Punch:  Scallop Oval #119856
