Fabulous Birthday

Create a Cupcake Stamp Set works great with the Build a Cupcake Punch, both new products available in n the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Now, do you have to have both to make great cards?  No, both the stamp set and punch could be used separately, but it does make it so much easier if you want to have your pieces cut out, and gives you many more designing options!

To start today's card I used Melon Mambo cardstock, with an embossed layer of Pretty in Pink.  I then cut two squares from the Scallop Squares Duo Bigz Die (Holiday Mini Catalog), the larger one using Sunny Garden DSP, and the smaller one with Old Olive Cardstock.  Next I stamped the cupcake bottom in Melon Mambo ink and punched it out with the Build a Cupcake Punch.  The icing was made with a punched piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock, and Melon Mambo cardstock  for the cherry.  Dimensionals were used for both the large scallop and the Happy Birthday.

When I have a card with dark cardstock on the inside, I like to stamp and then  punch my sentiment on Whisper White or some other lighter piece of cardstock.  It makes it so much easier to read!

To make today's card I used the following:
