Thanksgiving Favors

I plan on using these Turkey Favors as place setting for the children's table at Thanksgiving this year.  Tomorrow I will post favors that I will be putting out for the adults. The turkeys were a big hit at the craft fair I attended on Saturday.  This lonely one is the only one I have left, so off to my studio to make more after this post.

To make the turkey I cut two scallops using my Big Shot and the large scallop from the Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die.  The one on the front was punched with the 1 3/4" circle punch and this was the opening for the treat cup.  I punched various colors of cardstock with the 1 3/8" oval and then Cajun Craze for the 1 3/4" oval for layering.  I placed my treat cup filled with candy corn on the back scallop, and used glue dots to attach my feathers (ovals).  The feet were made with the 1 3/4" scallop circle punch (cut down to size) and then placed the other punched scallop circle over the opening.  The eyes were purchased at a craft store, and the tag was tied on with hemp twine.

To make the turkey favors I used the following:
Cardstock:  Chocolate Chip #102128, Cajun Craze #1196784, So Saffron #105118, Tangerine Tango #111349, Blush Blossom (retired)
Stamp Set:  Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370
Ink:  Chocolate Chip #100908
Punches:  1 3/8" Oval #119863, 1 3/4" Oval #119855, Scallop Circle #119854, 1 3/4" Circle #119850
Accessories:  Big Shot Machine #113439, Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die #113469, Treat Cups #116802
Ribbon:  Hemp Twine #100982
