Sweet Treat Cup Christmas Ornament or Gift Tag

A gift tag, or a Christmas ornament?  I haven't decided yet what would be better, but I think these little treat cups would be great for both.

I made them by starting with a 3 x 3 piece of Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper that I punched with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch.  I filled the treat cup with candy, and put it through the punched opening.  The back of the ornament/tag is a piece of 3 x 3 Real Red cardstock.  I placed sticky strip around the backing for extra hold.  The treat cups do have adhesive around them, but you do need to add some around the outer edges to keep your two pieces of paper from pulling apart.  I added my gift tag using retired silver cord, and punched a hole with my Crop-a-Dile and added the ribbon.

To make the Ornaments/Gift Tags I used the following:
Designer Series Paper:  Candy Cane Christmas #120809 (Holiday Mini)
Cardstock:  Real Red #102482
Ink:  Real Red #103133
Ribbon:  Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain #109034
Stamp Set:  Delightful Decorations #116517
Punch:  1 3/4" Circle #119850
Accessories:  Sweet Treat Cups #116802, Sticky Strip #104294, Crop-a-Dile #108362

What a cute and simple gift idea. I'm always excited to see what other people are doing with the treat cups.

I'm now following you from SC. Thanks for following me too.
