Silver Embossing for Christmas

Silver embossing adds beauty to the elegant design of the a' la carte Elizabeth stamp.

To make the card I embossed Always Artichoke cardstock with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder for my card base.  I then cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstock with the Top Note Die.  The Cherry Cobbler piece is true to the size of the die, and the Very Vanilla layer was cut around the ridges in the design to make a nice layer.  Using versa mark ink I stamped my Elizabeth stamp and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  My stamp-a-ma-jig was a must in centering my Merry Christmas, and it was stamped on with Cherry Cobbler ink.  A piece of Cherry Cobbler seam binding was placed behind the dies.

To make today's card I used the following:
Cardstock:  Always Artichoke #105119, Cherry Cobbler #11985, Very Vanilla #101650
Stamp Set:  Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370, Elizabeth #117120
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler #119669, Versa Mark 3102283
Embellishment:  Silver Embossing Powder #109131
Accessories:  Heat Tool #100005, Big Shot #113439, Top Note Bigz Die #113463, Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder #116824, Stamp-a-ma-jig #101049
Ribbon:  Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding #120992 (Holiday Mini)
