Make a few holes around your corners with the paper piercing tool to give your project a different look.  The tool along with the Mat Pack that has a paper-piercing template makes it easy to get it right the first time.

My card base is Whisper White cardstock, with a matte layer of Old Olive.  I took some Basic Black cardstock and a piece of DSP from the Brights Paper Stack and cut them on a diagonal for my next layer. I stamped my image with the two step hostess stamp set Fast & Fabulous.  I first stamped the flower outline in Basic Black Ink, and then the flowers in Concord Crush.    Some pearls were added to the center of the flowers, as well as the left corner for some extra embellishment.  I also sponged some Concord Crush ink around my Oval punched sentiment.  I like to do this when the sentiment is being stamped on the same color as the cardstock layer beneath it.  It makes it stand out a little bit more.

For today's card I used the following:
Cardstock:  Whisper White #100730, Old Olive #100702, Basic Black #121045
Designer Series Paper:  Brights Paper Stack #117155
Ink: Basic Black #101179, Concord Crush #119785
Stamp Set:  Fast & Fabulous #118754 wood mount, or #120133 clear mount (Hostess Level 2), Thoughts & Prayers #113252
Punch:  Extra Large Oval #119859
Embellishments:  Pearls #119247
Accessories:  Dimensionals #104430, Stamping Sponge #101610, Paper Piercing Tool #116631, Mat Pack #105826
