Hope & Love for Christmas

Using Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper makes it so easy to create an elegant Christmas Card.  The paper has such beautiful vintage designs that I don't want to cover them up with a lot of other stamping.

To enhance the beauty of the paper, I started with a card base of Cherry Cobbler cardstock which I embossed using the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.  For the flowers to stand out I took my uni-ball Signo Gel Pen and filled in the middle of the flowers with little white dots. I cut a 4 x 4 square of Designer Series Paper and layered this on top of a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.  A touch of Cherry Cobbler seam binding layered on a diagonal, my stamped sentiment, and the card is finished.

If you would like to order your own Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper now would be a great time.  Stampin' Up! has put together a Holiday Promotions Bundle.  You can receive the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper, and the Bells & Bough Stamp Set for $23.92 with a wood mount stamp set (#124067), or $19.92 with a clear mount stamp set (#124068).  That is 20% off retail prices.  This bundle and 6 others are available until December 16th.  To see the other items available for sale, click on the Holiday Bundles link on my blog.
