Vintage Christmas

Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper has such beautiful images with its selection of papers with vintage berries, poinsettias, and other traditional holiday patterns.

For today's card I used Always Artichoke Cardstock which I embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder for my card base.   I cut Cherry Cobbler, and a piece of the DSP using my Big Shot and the Top Note Bigz Die.  The Cherry Cobbler Top Note is true to size, and the Deck the Halls piece was trimmed so you could see a layer of Cherry Cobbler behind it.  Some Victoria Crochet Trim was tied to the two Dies to add to the vintage look.  The sentiment was punched in Cherry Cobbler ink which blends in so well with the paper.

Did you know that all of the Designer Series Paper coordinates with specific cardstock and ink.  It makes it really easy to know what colors coordinate.  Colors are listed under the name of your paper.

For today's card I used the following:
Cardstock:  Always Artichoke #105119, Cherry Cobbler #119685
Designer Series Paper:  Deck the Hall #120810 (Holiday Mini)
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler #119669
Stamp Set:  Snow Swirled #111690
Ribbon:  Victoria Crochet Trim #118481
Accessories:  Big Shot Die Cutting Machine #113439,Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder #120175, Top Note Bigz Die #113463
