Deck the Halls

Making a Christmas card with the new Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Mini is so easy.  The vintage berries, poinsettias, and other traditional holiday patterns that fill this paper are so beautiful that you don't need to add a lot of layers or embellishments to have an elegant card.

I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock as my base and added one layer of Soft Suede under my cut out piece of Deck the Halls paper. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the 1/2" seam binding that I used as my ribbon, but I love it.  It is so soft and has just the right amount of shimmer to it and ties great too.  It will make a nice addition to your holiday projects.  In placing the sentiment,  I didn't want to cover up the patterns on the paper, so I just used two dimensionals and placed it on the ribbon.

To make today's card I used the following:
Cardstock:  Cherry Cobbler #119685, Soft Suede #115318. Crumb Cake #120953
Designer Series Paper:  Deck the Halls #120810 (Holiday Mini)
Ribbon:  Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding #120992 (Holiday Mini)
Stamp Set:  Christmas Greetings #115448
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler #119669
Punch:  Small Corner #119871
Accessories:  Dimensionals #104330, Snail Adhesive #104332
