Beautiful Hydrangea

I jut love the Level 1 Hostess Set Because I Card.  The hydrangea is such a beautiful flower and creates a versatile image for your cards.

I stamped the hydrangea on Watercolor paper with Stazon Jet Black Ink.  I used my Aqua Painters and a mix of Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz, and Soft Suede ink to fill in the image. Two strips were cut using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch for the bottom of the card, and the right side looked a little bare so I punched small flowers with the Itty Bitty Punch and added a small pearl to the middle of each one. This was all put on a Perfect Polka Dot embossed layer of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  I angled my sentiment and used dimensionals to pop it up.

Come back tomorrow and see another card made with this stamp set using the Stained Glass Technique.

To make today's card I used the following:
Cardstock:  Pear Pizzazz #119795, Very Vanilla #101650

I saw this card in person at Eileen's Open House. It is absolutely beautiful! The ribbon punch really enhances this card as well as the watercoloring. Great job Eileen!
