Halloween Treat Box

This Treat Box would make a great addition to the card I posted yesterday.  Who wouldn't love getting some Halloween candy in this "Spooky" gift box.

I cut the box using the Fancy Favor Bigz xl Die.  I really love this Die.  This box is so easy to assemble.  All you need to do is fold it on the score lines, add Sticky Strip to one of the sides, and the bottom flaps and it is ready to be decorated and filled.  I had a friend use this Die to make 50 Wedding Reception Favors and it took no time at all.  She said what took the longest was filling the treat bags, otherwise the box assembly was a snap. Another great feature of this die is that with the leftover paper once the die is cut, you have a really nice strip to be used as your handle, and even some more left over it you wanted to add a layer to your punch.  Another option for this box is that instead of adding a handle, you can punch a small slit in the top of both sides and add some ribbon, or just leave the box the way it is.  It's up to you to decide what works best for the occasion the box is made for.  If you go to the post I made on May 9th titled Fancy Favor Box you can see how I decorated the box with ribbon instead of the handle.

I also ran a small piece of Basic Black cardstock through my Big Shot Die Cut Machine using the Spider Web embossing folder from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I put some candy in a Medium Cello Bag and tied it with the new Raven Lace Trim also from the Holiday Mini. I  ran some Basic Black cardstock through my crimper and cut it into small strips and placed it in the gift box to add as extra shavings to fill the box.

For today's Gift Box I used the following:
Cardstock:  Basic Black #121045, Whisper White #100730
