Vintage Thanks

I wanted to give my thank you card a vintage look, so I used my crimper, a little bit of champagne mist shimmer paint, and a stampin' sponge to create this card. I started with a card base of soft suede cardstock cut at 4 1/4 x 11, and took a small paint brush and added the shimmer paint. My layer of very vanilla cardstock was run through my crimper and then sponged with soft suede ink until I got the look I wanted. This was matted onto a piece of regal rose cardstock which was torn on the top edge, and then finished off with a piece of very vanilla 5/8" grosgrain ribbon. The flower was made by using the 5-petal flower punch. I punched three flowers in regal rose, ran them through my crimper, sponged them with soft suede ink and attached them with a chocolate chip 5/8" jumbo brad. I used mini glue dots to adhere them to the card. The thank you was stamped twice - first with regal rose ink, second with soft suede. The regal rose layer was punched with the scallop oval punch, the soft suede thanks was punched with the 1 3/8" oval punch, and dimensionals were used to pop it up. I like the look and hope you do to!

Thanks for stopping by today and feel free to leave comments!
