Sweet Treat Cups

Before I talk about today's card I want to say thank you to everyone who said a prayer for my little grandson who had hernia surgery today. He is home and doing great, and life is good!!! So, I was really in the mood to create a card that made me smile, and flowers and bright yellow make me think of only good things so here it is.

To make this card I first cut about 20 small ovals in Summer Sun cardstock. I then arranged them (do not adhere them yet) on a piece of Whisper White cardstock to see what size I would need. Next I cut my white cardstock 4" x 4 1/4" and punched the corners using the Corner Rounder punch. Now I placed the filled Sweet Treat Cup in the middle of my white cardstock (they have their own adhesive on the back so it stayed in place). Taking the cut ovals I placed them next to the treat cup and cut the ends off so they would lay flush against it and arranged them to create my flower, and used my snail adhesive to keep them in place. All of this was placed onto a piece of folded Kraft cardstock that I ran through my Big Shot and embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Folder. I added my sentiment, and that was it. A bright, cheery card filled with treats and ready to send to someone special.
